0208731190 CRABTREE CREEK AT ANDERSON DRIVE AT RALEIGH, NC
LOCATION - Lat 35°49'16", long 78°38'03" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Wake County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03020201, on the downstream side of bridge at Anderson Drive and 2.3 mi north of Raleigh.
DRAINAGE AREA - 111 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - The period from October 8, 2016 to February 26, 2018 was revised due to a datum correction found when levels were run at the site. A 0.079 ft correction was prorated from The date of the wire weight gage reset (2/26/2018) back to the event on October 8, 2016. Gage height readings made during site visits were modified in Aquarius back to July 14, 2017. Site visits before this date were below the 0.04 ft tolerance for making theses corrections.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1990 to May 1991, October 1991 to April 1993, June 1997 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 186.47 ft above NAVD 1988.  
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally good except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-nc_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of September 1996 reached a stage of 23.1 ft from flood marks as a result of Hurricane Fran.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 21.30 ft, October 8, 2016 as a result of Hurricane Matthew.
