LOCATION - Lat 36°07'41", long 79°39'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Guilford County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03030002, on left bank of upstream side of bridge on Secondary Road 2819, 300 ft downstream from the confluence of North Buffalo Creek and South Buffalo Creek, and 1.3 mi north of McLeansville, NC.
DRAINAGE AREA - 88.5 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR NC-02-1B: 1999 (annual maximum discharge).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. The datum of the gage is 647.49 ft above NAVD88 NAD83(2011). Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally good except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
