02146315 TAGGART CREEK AT WEST BOULEVARD NEAR CHARLOTTE, NC
LOCATION - Lat 35°12'24", long 80°55'19" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Mecklenburg County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03050103, on right bank on northeast corner of intersection of Billy Graham Parkway, and North Carolina Highway 160 (West Boulevard), 1.2 mi upstream of confluence with Irwin Creek, and 5.0 mi from city hall in Charlotte, NC.
DRAINAGE AREA - 5.71 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2009: Drainage area.

The datum was revised because the original NAVD88 datum was found to be in error by the Level II GNSS survey that was performed by USGS personnel on November 17, 2022.

Discharge above 814 cfs for the period Mar. 20, 2003 to Aug. 14, 2003, was revised on Dec. 8, 2021, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.

Discharge above 620 cfs for the period Jun. 25, 2004 to Aug. 23, 2008, was revised on Dec. 8, 2021, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.

Discharge above 539 cfs for the period Jun. 27, 2006 to Apr. 19, 2015, was revised on Dec. 8, 2021, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.

Discharge above 522 cfs for the period Jun. 26, 2015 to Sep. 2, 2020, was revised on Dec. 9, 2021, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 604.27 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Radio telemetry at station.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. No flow occurred for part of August 8, 2002, and part of June 26-27, 2022.
