02152474 FIRST BROAD RIVER AT LAWNDALE, NC
LOCATION - Lat 35°24'55", long 81°33'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Cleveland County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03050105, On center of bridge on Highway 182, 1.0 mile downstream of Knob Creek, and 0.1 mi northeast of Lawndale.
DRAINAGE AREA - 190 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - The mean gage-heights associated with discharge measurements #144-#146 were revised on Mar 05, 2024, based on changes to the gage datum.

The datum was revised on March 06, 2024, because the original NAVD88 datum was found to be in error by the Level II GNSS survey that was performed by USGS personnel on September 28, 2023.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2008 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest stage gage. Datum of gage is 772.61 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
