LOCATION - Lat 35°07'06", long 81°26'12" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Cherokee County, SC, Hydrologic Unit 03050105, attached to upstream side of bridge on County Road 223, 1.7 mi above Jumping Creek and 3.5 mi east of Blacksburg,SC.
DRAINAGE AREA - 27.9 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Gage datum was revised on May 02, 2023, based on an error in the determination of the gage datum.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2006 to October 2021 (discontinued). March 2023 to present year. 
GAGE - Data collection platform and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 601.14 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, determined from a Level II GNSS survey.
REMARKS -

Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, 
which are poor.  Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum instantaneous discharge, 2940 cfs, Feb. 6, 2020. Maximum instantaneous gage height, 13.62 ft, Dec. 30, 2015. Minimum daily mean discharge, 0.04 cfs, Aug. 11, 2008.
