LOCATION - Lat 33°11'02", long 79°24'22" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Charleston County, SC, Hydrologic Unit 03050112, on the downstream side of the downstream/northbound of the U.S. Highway 17 bridge across the South Santee River. Bridge is 1.5 mi north of McClellanville, and 5.5 mi south of North Santee. Crest Stage is at the base of the right bank 17Northbound side of bridge. Same side as the gage.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-2004-1: Gage Datum.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE - Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 8.65 ft below NAVD of 1988.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 15.47 ft, Jan. 8, 2016; minimum gage height, 4.73 ft, Mar. 9, 2008. Gage height affected by tide and regulation from Lake Marion (see sta. 02171000) and rediversion from St. Stephens powerplant (see sta. 02171645).
