LOCATION - Lat 33°32'57", long 82°02'13.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Columbia County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03060106, gage is on left bank, 250 ft downstream of the Augusta Canal Lock and Dam.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Gage datum was revised on February 1, 2022, based on an error in the determination of the original gage datum.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1996 to July 2003, October 2007 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform and acoustic velocity meter. Datum of gage is 148.00 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to October 1, 2007, at different site at same datum.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good to fair. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
