DRAINAGE AREA - 5,110 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: October 1937 to December 1955, March 2008 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: March 2008 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 102.6 feet above North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (leveling by Global Positioning System equipment).
COOPERATION - USGS National Streamflow Information Program (NSIP).
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally fair. EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of April 14, 1936, reached a stage of 25.5 feet with a discharge 96,000 cfs
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge recorded, 66,300 cfs, December 5, 1948; maximum gage height recorded, 22.60 feet, December 5, 1948; minimum daily discharge, 352 cfs, October 7, 2008.
