LOCATION - Lat 28°26'51", long 81°44'25" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 sec.31, T.23 S., R.26 E., Lake County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03080102, near left bank 40 ft downstream from foot bridge, 1 mi upstream from mouth at Lake Louisa, and 7.5 mi southeast of Clermont.
DRAINAGE AREA - 68 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1945, October 1946, September 1947, December 1952 to July 1955, May 1956 (discharge measurements only), July 1958 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is 98.97 ft above NGVD of 1929 and 98.06 ft above NAVD of 1988.
COOPERATION -  This gage is monitored in cooperation with the St. Johns River Water Management District.
REMARKS - Some interconnection at high stages with Little Creek and Withlacoochee River basin, which drains into the swamp above the station.
