LOCATION - Lat 26°57'46.65", long 81°07'14.98" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in T.40 S., R.32 E., Glades County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090103, near center span on the upstream side of bridge on State Highway 78, 1.0 mi southeast of Lakeport, and 2.4 mi upstream from Lake Okeechobee.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 1948 to December 1950; September 1971 to July 1974 (discharge measurements only); June 1993 to February 1997 (gage heights only); May 1997 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NGVD of 1929 (South Florida Water Management District bench mark). Nonrecording gage 1949-50, 1971-76 at same site.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the South Florida Water Management District.
