LOCATION - Lat 27°21'54", long 80°52'22" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 sec.07, T.36 S., R.35 E., Okeechobee County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090102, 200 ft upstream from SCS grade-control structure, 9.2 mi north/northwest of junction of US 441 and State Road 70, 13.8 mi upstream from mouth at Lake Okeechobee.
DRAINAGE AREA - 45.4 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NAVD of 1988 (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers bench mark).
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by wooden timber weir with flash boards. Discharge computed by relation between stage/discharge and does not include leakage around weir, which is less than 2.0 ft³/s.
