  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2010:Datum of gage, revised in 2010 water year.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1964 to September 1965 (periodic discharge measurements and gage heights only); October 1965 to September 1974 (periodic discharge measurements and maximum and minimum gage heights only); October 1975 to September 1977 (periodic discharge measurements and tidal high-high and low-low gage heights only); October 1977 to September 1978 (periodic discharge measurements and tidal high-high and low-low elevations only); February 1997 to September 1998 (discharge, gage-heights and periodic discharge measurements), incomplete; October 1998 to September 2005 (daily values for discharge) October 2005 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage and velocity recorder. Datum of gage is National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 0.675 ft. below North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to 1978 at datum 10.00 ft below National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Streamflow at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. Discharge measurements made about 300 ft downstream from head of springs; measurements made prior to November 1997 include flow from Crab Creek. By convention, the U.S. Geological Survey has established ebb (seaward) flows as positive flow and flood (landward) flows as negative flows.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 6.12 ft, Sept. 02, 2016; minimum gage height, 0.08 ft below NGVD of 1929, Nov. 18, 2020.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -

Temperature and specific conductance, June 2004 to current year.

Nitrate, September 2015 to September 2021 (discontinued).

COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor consisting of specific conductance, temperature, and nitrate sensors. The sonde is located at an elevation of 1.60 ft below National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum, 32,100 microsiemens, Aug. 30, 2023; minimum, 471 microsiemens, Aug. 16, 2019. TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 28.5°C, Aug. 30, 2023; minimum, 17.6°C, Feb. 15, 2007. NITRATE: Maximum, 0.73 mg/l, Oct. 15, 2019; minimum, 0.08 mg/l, Sep. 02, 2016.
