LOCATION - Lat 28°47'50", long 82°35'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 sec.28, T.19 S., R.17 E., Citrus County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100207, at bridge on Fishbowl Drive, 0.6 mi west of town of Homosassa Springs, and 3.1 mi northeast of Homosassa.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - 1932, 1933, 1936, 1946, 1956, 1963-65, 1976-86, 1997-2000 (discharge measurements only); October 2000 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and velocity meter. Datum of gage is National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 0.62 ft below North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Streamflow at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. By convention, the U.S. Geological Survey has established ebb (seaward) flows as positive flow and flood (landward) flows as negative flows.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 5.57 ft, Sept. 02, 2016; minimum gage height, 1.58 ft below NGVD 29, January 3, 2008.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS

COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor consisting of specific conductance and temperature sensors. Sonde elevation is at an elevation of 1.8 ft below National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
