LOCATION - Lat 34°00'43", long 86°44'12" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Blount County, AL, Hydrologic Unit 03160109, on downstream side of county road, 0.7 mi east of Garden City, 1.6 mi upstream of Louisville & Nashville Railroad bridge, 3.7 mi downstream from Mud Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 358 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR AL-79-2: Drainage area. WDR AL-82-1: 1974-80 (P).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1928 to September 2014(discontinued). Monthly discharge only for period April to June 1932 published in WSP 1304. Prior to 1941, published as "Mulberry Fork of Black Warrior River."

Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 392.85 ft above NAVD of 1988, (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010'0000) GEOID18.

Prior to 07/13/2023 the datum of gage was 475 ft above NGVD of 1929(from topographic map). Prior to November 2, 2012, recording gage 1.8 mi downstream at datum of 380.54 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to Dec. 5, 1939, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.

REMARKS - For Water Year 2015, record good.
