LOCATION - Lat 41°15'40", long 80°57'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Trumbull County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05030103, on right bank 75 ft downstream from county road bridge, 1 mi north of Phalanx Station, 2 mi downstream from Tinkers Creek, and 4 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 97.6 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 953: 1938-41. WSP 1385: 1927-30, 1931-32(M), 1934, 1938-41(P). WSP 1555: 1928(M), 1929. WSP 1907: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1926 to September 1934, October 1937 to current year. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1305.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 887.19 ft (NAVD 1988). Prior to February 2015, datum was 887.14 ft (NGVD 1929) (levels by Mahoning Valley Sanitary District). Prior to Sept. 14, 1929, nonrecording gage at same site and datum; Sept. 14, 1929-Sept. 30, 1977, at same site and datum 0.28 ft higher.
COOPERATION - U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
REMARKS - Nov. 18, 2018 to Apr. 30, 2019; Records poor. Apr. 30, 2019 to Oct. 23, 2019; Records fair.  Oct. 1, 2014 to Oct. 19, 2017; Records fair except for periods of estimated record which are considered poor.  Oct. 19, 2017 to Sept. 11, 2018: Discharge records fair except for estimated daily discharges which are poor.  Sept. 11, 2018 to Nov. 15, 2018: Discharge records are poor. Water-quality data formerly collected at this site.  Record quality ratings will not be included in the water-year summary for approved records newer than 09/30/2019.
