03102950 Pymatuning Creek at Kinsman, OH
LOCATION - Lat 41°26'34", long 80°35'18" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Trumbull County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05030102, on the right bank at downstream side of bridge on St. Rt. 7, at Kinsman, 0.8 mi downstream from Sugar Creek and 1.2 mi upstream from Stratton Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 96.7 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous discharge gage, October 1965 to September 1994, recording crest stage gage October 1994 to Sept. 30, 2007.
GAGE -

Water stage recorder is a Sutron Satlink 2 w/temperature probe, owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District and housed in 6ft by 6ft concrete house and well. Gage has electric service and there is a rain gage on the roof. Inside gage is electric-tape gage. Outside gage is wire-weight gage mounted on the downstream side of the bridge.

Datum of gage is 906.49 ft (NAVD 1988). Prior to July 2015, datum of gage was 906.80 ft (NGVD 1929).

REMARKS - Water-quality data formerly collected at this site from 1966 to 1977. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers satellite telemeter at station. WATER TEMPERATURE: Oct. 1, 2013 to Nov. 28, 2017: Records good except Dec. 22, 2013 to Apr. 3, 2014, July 27, 2014, Oct. 19, 2014 to Oct. 20, 2014, Sept. 14, 2016 to Nov. 17, 2016, which are fair, and Sept. 23, 2014 to Sept. 30, 2014, May 25, 2015, July 21, 2015 to Aug. 1, 2015, and Apr. 21-22, 2016, which are poor.  Nov. 28, 2017 to Nov. 15, 2018: Temperature records are good except Sept. 21, 2018 to Nov. 15, 2018, temperature records are poor.  Record quality ratings may not be included in the water-year summary for approved records newer than 09/30/2018.  Record quality is still being rated internally.  For questions about record quality ratings, please send email to: gs-w-oh_NWISWeb_Data_Inquiries@usgs.gov.
