LOCATION - Lat 40°26'08", long 80°35'34" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Hancock County, WV, Hydrologic Unit 05030101, at county road bridge 0.2 mi upstream from State Route 2, and at mile 1.4.
DRAINAGE AREA - 48.9 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2006: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1976 to September 1978, and December 2002 to current year (daily discharge and peaks).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemeter.  Datum of gage is 678.8 ft above NAVD 88. 
REMARKS - Maximum peak flow of 8,700 ft³/s from rating curve extended above 1,400 ft³/s on the basis of theoretical bridge computation. Maximum peak stage of 17.21 ft from floodmark.
