LOCATION - Lat 40°14'54", long 81°52'23" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Coshocton County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05040004, on right bank at upstream side of former highway bridge, 1 mi southwest of Coshocton, and 2 mi downstream from confluence of Tuscarawas and Walhonding Rivers.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4,859 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1907: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1936 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 724.17 ft (NAVD 1988); Prior to Sept.19, 1936, non-recording gage and Sept. 20, 1936-Sept. 30, 1977, water-stage recorder at same site at 730.00 ft (1912 adjustment); Oct. 1, 1977 to Oct. 1, 2010, at 725.00 ft (1912 adjustment).
REMARKS -

2013WY: Records good, except for estimated daily discharges which are poor. October 1, 2014 to October 20, 2015: Records fair, except for estimated daily discharges which are poor. October 20, 2015 to October 10, 2016: discharge records good, except for estimated daily discharges which are poor.  Oct. 10, 2016 to Nov. 7, 2017:  Records good except for Jan. 26, 2017 to May 21, 2017, which are fair and estimated discharges, which are poor.  Nov. 7, 2017 to Nov. 13, 2018: discharge records fair, except for estimated daily discharges which are poor.   Record quality ratings may not be included in the water-year summary for approved records newer than 11/13/2018.  Record quality is still being rated internally.  For questions about record quality ratings, please send email to: gs-w-oh_NWISWeb_Data_Inquiries@usgs.gov.
