LOCATION - Lat 40°03'14", long 82°23'32" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Licking County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05040006, on right upstream bank of Ohio Street bridge, 250 ft. above confluence with South Fork Licking River, and 0.6 mi southeast of the center of Newark.
DRAINAGE AREA - 241 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Drainage area published in OH-WDR 2008 and 2009 is in error.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -

Discharge record: October 2007 to September 2010 (discontinued).

Stage record: October 2007 to present.  Gap in record June 14, 2019 Oct. 24, 2019 due to bridge construction.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 790.45 ft (NAVD 1988).
COOPERATION - Operated in cooperation with the City of Newark.
REMARKS -

Partial regulation by Newark water treatment plant 2 1/4 miles upstream from gage.
