LOCATION - Lat 37°33'48", long 81°39'09" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Wyoming County, WV, Hydrologic Unit 05070101, on right bank on Secondary State Route 14, 0.3 miles south of Fanrock, and at mile 0.3.
DRAINAGE AREA - 7.31 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY -

WDR WV-97-1: Drainage area. WDR WV-2003-1: 1997-2002(M). WDR WV-2005-1: 2002(M).

The peak discharge for the 2018 Water year revised on Sept. 2, 2020, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.

The peak gage height and peak discharge for Water Years 2013-2019 were revised on Mar. 17, 2020 based on errors found in the elevation of the sensor.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 2,150 ft³/s, June 13, 2010, gage height, 12.74 ft (backwater); minimum daily, 0.06 ft³/s, Oct. 22-31, 1969.
AVERAGE DISCHARGE FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - 8 years (water years 1970-77), 10.5 ft³/s, 19.80 in/yr.
