LOCATION - Lat 39°54'34", long 83°00'33" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Franklin County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05060001, on right bank 2,740 ft downstream from bridge on Frank Road, 2.8 mi upstream from Scioto Big Run, and 5 mi downstream from Olentangy River.

DRAINAGE AREA - 1,629 mi².

REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 743: 1927(M). WSP 803: 1922-24, 1926-30, 1932-33. WSP 1908: Drainage area.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1920 to current year. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1305.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 679.18 ft (NAVD 1988) (levels by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers). Prior to Oct. 1, 1924, nonrecording gage at site 200 ft upstream at datum 680.00 ft (NGVD 1929). Oct. 1, 1924 to Sept. 30, 2010 at current site at same datum.

REMARKS -

Records fair for 2014. Estimated records are poor. Flow regulated by three reservoirs. Water-quality data formerly collected at this site. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers satellite telemeter at station. Oct. 1, 2014 to Apr. 1, 2015: discharge records good. Apr. 1, 2015 to Aug. 26, 2015: discharge records fair. Aug. 26, 2015 to Nov. 2, 2015: discharge records good. Nov. 2, 2015 to Dec. 28, 2016: discharge records good. For the period Dec. 29, 2016 to Jul. 17, 2017, discharge records rated fair. For the period Jul. 18, 2017 to Jan. 31, 2018, discharge records rated good. For the period Feb. 1, 2018 to Jul. 22, 2018, discharge records rated fair. For the period Jul. 23, 2018 to Sept. 30, 2018, discharge records rated good.
