LOCATION - Lat 39°36'05", long 82°57'19" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Pickaway County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05060002, on right bank 100 ft. upstream from U.S. Highway 22 bridge, 0.9 miles downstream from Big Darby Creek, and 1,400 ft. downstream from Hargus Creek.

DRAINAGE AREA - 3,217 mi².

REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-OH-79-1: 74-78 (M). WDR-OH-2012: 1974-78.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous discharge gage, October 1973 to September 1979, March 1, 2011 to current year, recording crest stage gage, October 2000 to February 2007. Gage height records collected in this vicinity since September 1915, are contained in reports of the National Weather Service.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 642.51 ft (NAVD 1988) (levels by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers). Prior to October 2010 datum was 643.03 ft (NGVD 1929).

REMARKS - Discharge records good for 2014, except for periods of estimated record which are poor. Oct. 1, 2014 to Apr. 9, 2015: discharge records good. Apr. 9, 2015 to Oct. 13, 2015: discharge records fair. Oct. 13, 2015 to Oct. 18, 2016: discharge records good. Oct. 19, 2016 to Aug. 15, 2017, discharge records fair. Aug. 16, 2017 to Nov. 13, 2017 discharge records poor. For the period Nov. 13, 2017 to Apr. 4, 2018, discharge records rated poor. For the period Apr. 5, 2018 to Jul. 25, 2018 discharge records rated fair. For the period Jul. 26, 2018 to Dec. 2, 2018, discharge records rated poor. Flow regulated by 5 reservoirs 38 mi to 62 mi upstream from station. Water-quality data formerly collected at this site. Record quality ratings may not be included in the water-year summary for approved records newer than 09/30/2018. Record quality is still being rated internally.
