LOCATION - Lat 39°19'13", long 82°58'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Ross County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05060003, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on State Highway 772, 4.3 mi downstream from North Fork Paint Creek and 3.8 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,136 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-OH-88-1: 1986(M), 1987(M).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1985 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 587.25 ft (NAVD 1988). Prior to Oct. 1, 2011 600 ft. above sea level (from topographic map).
REMARKS - WY2014: records fair except for estimated records, which are poor. WY2015: records fair except for estimated records, which are poor. Nov. 10, 2015 to Oct. 13, 2016: discharge records fair. For the period Oct. 13, 2016 to Nov. 9, 2017, discharge records rated fair. For period Nov. 9, 2017 to Apr. 26, 2018, discharge records fair. Flow regulated by Paint Creek Lake, 35 mi upstream, capacity 145,000 acre-ft, and Rocky Fork Lake 41 mi upstream, capacity 34,100 acre-ft. Water-quality data formerly collected at this site.  Record quality ratings will not be included in the water-year summary for approved records newer than 09/30/2019.
