LOCATION - Lat 39°12'07.1", long 84°28'16.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Hamilton County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05090203, on right bank 100 ft. downstream from Anthony Wayne Avenue bridge at Carthage, 1 mile downstream from West Fork and 11 miles upstream from mouth. Cincinnati East quad.
DRAINAGE AREA - 115 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-OH-95-1: 1993 (M). WSP 1908: drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous discharge gage, November 1946 to September 2002, October 2010 to current year, recording crest stage gage, October 2002 to September 2010.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 505.61 ft (NAVD 1988). Prior to Oct. 1, 1954, at same site at datum 512.00 ft above Ohio River Datum. Oct. 1, 1954 - Sept. 30, 1977, at site 100 ft downstream at datum 512.00 ft above Ohio River Datum. Oct. 1, 1977 - Oct. 16, 1984, at site 100 ft upstream at same datum. Oct. 17, 1984 - Sept. 30, 2014, at same site at datum 507.00 ft above Ohio River datum.
REMARKS - Records fair for 2014 except for estimated records, which are poor. Oct. 1, 2014 to Nov. 17, 2015: records fair. Nov. 18, 2015 to Mar. 20, 2016: discharge records fair. Mar. 21, 2016 to Jun. 5, 2016: discharge records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Jun. 6, 2016 to Jul. 31, 2016: discharge records fair. Aug. 1, 2016 to Oct. 16, 2016: discharge records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. For the period Oct. 17, 2017 to May 31, 2017, discharge records rated fair. For the period Jun. 1, 2017 to Oct. 4, 2017, discharge records rated good. Record quality ratings will not be included in the water-year summary for approved records newer than 09/30/2019.
