LOCATION - Lat 37°33'08", long 83°23'09" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Breathitt County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05100201, on bridge on Highway 30 Bridge near downtown Jackson, 3.3 miles downstream from Quicksand Creek, and at mile 305.5.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,101 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

August 22, 1980 to June 1, 2005, water-stage recorder 0.5 miles upstream at present datum. June 1, 2005 to present, water-stage recorder 0.5 miles downstream on Hwy 30 bridge at present datum.
