03288180 CANE RUN CREEK AT CITATION BOULEVARD NEAR LEXINGTON, KY
LOCATION - Lat 38°05'30", long 84°30'05" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Fayette County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05100205, on downstream left bank on Citation Blvd near Lexington, 1.44 miles south of I-64 and at mile 14.3.
DRAINAGE AREA - 5.54 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2012 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder with crest stage gage for peak verification. Datum of gage is 888.88 ft. NAVD 1988.
REMARKS - Water goes under ground to an aquifer through a known sinkhole about .5 miles above the gage. The effects of this only show during low flow periods. Events are very flashy due to upstream urban environment of paved surfaces.
