LOCATION - Lat 38°00'12", long 85°40'56" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Bullitt County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05140102, which is about .4 mile above the Salt River and about 3.0 miles upstream from the Base gage at the HWY 61 bridge over the Salt River in Shepherdsville, KY.
DRAINAGE AREA - 283 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
GAGE - Water-stage recorder.  Datum of gage is 406.58 feet above NGVD of 1929.
COOPERATION - United States Army Corps of Engineers - Louisville District
REMARKS - This is the auxiliary station for 03298500, SALT RIVER AT SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY, and is used for the computation of discharge under slope conditions (over 4.5' of stage). Refer to that site for elevation information.
