LOCATION - Lat 38°26'02", long 86°11'30" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.16, T.1 S., R.3 E., Washington County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 05140104, on downstream side of bridge on U.S. Highway 150 at Fredericksburg, 0.5 mi downstream from South Fork Blue River, and at mile 57.1.
DRAINAGE AREA - 283 mi² of which 76.9 mi² probably is noncontributing.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1968 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 589.56 ft above the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 and 590.00 ft above the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
REMARKS - For the period 10/01/2013 - 09/30/2014 record is poor. For the period 10/01/2014 - 11/10/2015 record is poor. For the period 11/11/2015 - 10/26/2016 record is fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of Jan. 21, 1959, reached a stage of 29.20 ft, from floodmark, on left upstream wingwall.
