LOCATION - Lat 37°21'07", long 85°57'58" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Hart County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05110001, on downstream side of bridge on Hwy 1140, 2.0 miles south of Priceville, and at mile 9.7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 85.4 mi² of which 31 mi² probably is noncontributing, Old gage location-- 85.4 sq mi., of which about 31 sq mi does not contribute directly to surface runoff. Determined from 1:24,000 scale maps using FIARBC procedures. New gage location--75.16 sq. mi.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1959 to September 1994. October 2010 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with telemetry. Water-stage recorder with telemetry. Datum of gage at current location not yet determined. Datum of gage prior to October 1994 at location 2.5 stream miles downstream was 668.158 feet above NGVD of 1929.
