LOCATION - Lat 40°53'54.8", long 85°24'47.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.09, T.28 N., R.10 E., Huntington County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 05120101, on the downstream side of County Road 200 East bridge, 4.5 mi east of Huntington, and at mile 7.0.
DRAINAGE AREA - 263 mi². drainage area derived from the "Drainage Areas of Indiana Streams" publication

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1943 to current year. Prior to January 1944 monthly discharge only, published in WSP 1305. Published as Little River at Huntington, January 1944 to September 1948, Little River near Huntington, October 1948 to September 1956, and Little Wabash River near Huntington, October 1956 to September 1961.
GAGE - Radar with water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 723.38 NAVD88. Prior to 08/27/14, water-stage recorder at stilling well site at Datum of 728.10 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Prior to Oct. 1, 1948, non-recording gage 3.5 mi downstream at datum 8.79 ft lower, and Oct. 1, 1948, to Sept. 5, 1950, non-recording gage at present site and datum.
