LOCATION - Lat 41°16'53", long 85°46'47" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.25, T.33 N., R.6 E., Kosciusko County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 05120106, gage is located in the public access site on the southeast shore of Big Chapman Lake, about 4.9 miles northeast from Warsaw.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4.17 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR IN-03-1: 1990 - 2002.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - 1945-1971, 1976-2002, August 2003 to April 2016 (disc.).
GAGE - A water-stage recorder is installed in an aluminum shelter over a 15-inch diameter stilling well. DATUM OF GAGE.--Land-surface datum is 820 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. SURFACE AREA.--581 acres. ESTABLISHED LEGAL LEVEL.--7.75 ft gage datum or 827.75 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 as established on October 18, 1949, by the Kosciusko County Circuit Court.
