LOCATION - Lat 39°48'45", long 86°57'14" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.22, T.16 N., R.5 W., Putnam County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 05120108, on downstream side of County Road 1000N bridge, 1.6 mi upstream from Ramp Creek, 3.7 mi west-northwest of Fincastle, 19.7 mi southwest of Crawfordsville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 139 mi². drainage area derived from the "Drainage Areas of Indiana Streams" publication

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of June 28, 1957, reached a stage of 19.10 ft discharge, 39,900 ft³/s, from slope-area measurement.
