LOCATION - Lat 39°50'50", long 86°06'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.08, T.16 N., R.4 E., Marion County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 05120201, the gage is on the south side of 52nd St. approx. 0.5 mi east of Keystone Ave. in Indianapolis.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1.44 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1, 2004 to current year.
GAGE -

A water-stage recorder is installed in an aluminum shelter with a gas purged pressure transducer with an orifice line.

DATUM OF GAGE.--718.04 feet above the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 or 718.35 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.

SURFACE AREA.--19 acres.

ESTABLISHED LEGAL LEVEL.--Not established.

LAKE-LEVEL CONTROL.--The level of the lake is controlled by inlet and outlet culverts.

INLET AND OUTLET.--The inlet is a small culvert that enters on the north side of the lake with flows from Lake Maxinhall. The outlet leaves the lake on the southwest edge through a culvert that flows into Willow Creek which flows into Fall Creek and eventually into the White River.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage, 8.48 ft, May 16, 2019; minimum stage, 2.08 ft, Feb. 17 and 20, 2011.
