LOCATION - Lat 39°25'03", long 85°38'03" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.09, T.11 N., R.8 E., Shelby County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 05120205, on right bank 500 ft downstream from county road bridge, 0.8 mi southwest of St. Paul, 1.5 mi downstream from Mill Creek, and at mile 34.4.
DRAINAGE AREA - 303 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 853: 1934-36. WSP 973: 1942. WSP 1335: 1933, 1936. WSP 1725: 1957(M). WSP 2109: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1930 to current year. Prior to October 1958, published as Flatrock Creek at St. Paul.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 764.30 feet above the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 or 764.84 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (levels by State of Indiana, Department of Natural Resources). Prior to Oct. 21, 1938, non-recording gage at site 500 ft upstream at same datum.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood in March 1913 reached a stage of approximately 20.5 ft, from information by local residents.
