LOCATION - Lat 36°46'40", long 87°43'18" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Trigg County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05130205, on right bank at upstream side of bridge on State Highway 1253, 50 feet downstream from Casey Creek, 8.8 miles southeast of Cadiz, and at mile 34.3.
DRAINAGE AREA - 244 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1173: 1942-43, 1946(M), 1949. WSP 1306: 1940(M). WSP 1626: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1940 to June 30, 2020.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with telemetry with crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 391.45 feet above NGVD of 1929. Prior to July 31, 1945, non-recording gage at same site and datum.
COOPERATION - Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet.
REMARKS - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers maintains the gage as stage-only from July 1, 2020 forward.  Data are displayed temporarily only since USGS no longer quality assures them.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 37,700 ft³/s, gage-height, 26.44 feet, March 1, 1997.
