LOCATION - Lat 35°23'04", long 83°17'30" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Jackson County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 06010203, on old truss bridge near left bank, 60 ft upstream from bridge on Secondary Road 1392, 0.1 mi upstream from Barkers Creek and at river mile 27.3
DRAINAGE AREA - 360 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Gage datum was revised on October 01, 2022 based on an error in the determination of the gage datum. 
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2004 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 1,880.25 ft above NAVD of 1988. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS -

Flow regulated by Cedar Cliff Lake, and Thorpe Lake.
