LOCATION - Lat 42°52'25", long 87°59'45" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.22, T.5 N., R.21 E., Milwaukee County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 04040002, on right bank 400 ft upstream from State Highway 100, 2.1 mi upstream from Root River Canal, 2.4 mi southeast of Franklin, 5.5 mi southeast of Hales Corners, and about 24 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 49.2 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR WI-81-1: Drainage area. WDR WI-83-1: 1981.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1963 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 674.2 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Records are fair, except for estimated periods, and flows less than 10 ft³/s, which are poor. Flow affected by urbanization in the drainage basin. Since 1984 there has been minor regulation from a fish hatchery about 1,500 ft upstream. Gage-height telemeter at station.
