LOCATION - Lat 41°29'28", long 83°13'29" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Ottawa County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 04100010, on right bank 500 ft upstream from State Route 590, 0.4 mi downstream from Sugar Creek, and 4.2 mi east of Elmore.
DRAINAGE AREA - 494 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-OH-05-2: Datum
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 572.96 ft (NAVD 1988). Prior to October 1,2012 datum was 573.79 ft (NGVD 1929).
REMARKS -

Flow supplemented by water diverted from Maumee River Basin upstream. The diversions began Sept. 1, 1951. See station Portage River at Woodville (04195500) for annual diversion figure. September 15, 2015 to October 15, 2015 discharge records rated fair; October 15, 2015 to November 17, 2015 discharge records rated good; November 17, 2015 to February 03, 2016 discharge records rated poor; February 03, 2016 to May 16, 2016, discharge records rated fair; May 16, 2016 to October 31, 2016, discharge records rated good.  October 31, 2016 to November 13, 2017: discharge records rated fair except estimated records which are poor. Nov. 13, 2017 to June 7, 2018: discharge records poor. June 8, 2018 to Oct. 16, 2018: discharge records fair except for estimated discharge, which are poor.
