LOCATION - Lat 43°56'33", long 73°27'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Essex County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 04150408, on right bank 200 ft upstream from bridge at Essex County Fish Hatchery, 200 ft downstream from unnamed tributary, and 0.2 mi east of Crown Point Center.
DRAINAGE AREA - 51.6 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Occasional low-flow and/or miscellaneous discharge measurements, water year 1966. March 1990 to September 2014, November 2017 to September 2019 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 211.37 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Water Year 2014: Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water Years 2018-19: Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 4,130 ft³/s, Aug. 28, 2011, gage height, 8.93 ft, outside gage height was 9.85 ft, from crest-stage gage; minimum discharge, 0.36 ft³/s, Sept. 10, 11, 2002; minimum gage height, 3.02 ft, July 26, 1993.
