PERIOD OF RECORD.--DAILY GAGE HEIGHT--October 2000 to current year.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1201.29 ft above North American Vertical Datum 1988 (NAVD88, Survey done by USGS) and 1,200.00 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum 1929 (NGVD29).

From December 29, 1994, to September 18, 2000, at site 0.7 mi downstream at same datum.

REMARKS -

Fish hatchery releases through the fish-rearing ponds average 8-10 ft³/s. This flow is not included in discharge below approximately 300 ft³/s because flow measurements are made above the fish-rearing ponds. Above 300 ft³/s, flow measurements are made about 0.25 mile downstream and will include releases from the fish-rearing ponds.

Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for estimated discharges, which are poor, unless otherwise noted.

REGULATION.--Flow completely regulated by Lake Ashtabula (station 05057500). Records for 1955 to 1972 and December 29, 1994 to October 23, 2008 include releases at Baldhill Dam to the fish-rearing ponds of the Fish and Wildlife Service.
