05357245 TROUT RIVER AT TROUT LAKE NEAR BOULDER JUNCTION, WI
LOCATION - Lat 46°02'08", long 89°42'20" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.14, T.41 N., R.6 E., Vilas County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07050002, on right bank 20 ft upstream from U.S. Highway 51 bridge, approximately 500 ft downstream from outlet of Trout Lake, 6.0 mi southwest of Boulder Junction. Datum of gage is 1610.968 NAVD88, from Aeropoint survey on June 4th, 2020.  Variance of point used was .05 ft, and range of elevations was .019 ft between 3 aeropoints.
DRAINAGE AREA - 46.2 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1991 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest stage gage. Datum of gage is: 1610.97 ft above NAVD88.
REMARKS - Gage-height telemeter at station. Records are considered good except for estimated daily discharges which are poor and other periods as noted. For records status prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in annual water-data reports. 05/12/2014-06/18/2014: Records fair due to extreme painting.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2011 to September 30, 2015.
INSTRUMENTATION - A Campbell Scientific 107B thermistor is integrated with the CR-10000 data-logger. Prior to Feb. 18, 2015, a thermocouple-type temperature probe was used. The temperature probe is located near the orifice at right bank.
REMARKS - Water temperature data exists outside the period of record, but to date, that record has not been checked for accuracy and is not published.
