LOCATION - Lat 43°34'27", long 90°38'35" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.29, T.13 N., R.2 W., Vernon County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07070006, on left bank 10 ft upstream from bridge on State Highway 82, in La Farge, 0.3 mi upstream from Otter Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 266 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1388: 1951(M), 1954(M). WSP 1438: 1944-45(M), 1946, 1948, 1950(M).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1938 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 781.44 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to Dec. 4, 1939, nonrecording gage on highway bridge at same datum.
REMARKS - Gage-height telemeter at station. Records good except those for estimated daily discharges and discharges above 13,000 CFS due to variable backwater, which are poor, and other periods as noted. For records status prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in annual water-data reports.
