LOCATION - Lat 43°26'40", long 88°50'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.05, T.11 N., R.14 E., Dodge County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07090001, on left bank 50 ft downstream from bridge on Cooper Street, 1.3 mi downstream from outlet of Beaver Dam Lake, at Beaver Dam, WI.
DRAINAGE AREA - 157 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1985 to current year. Instantaneous stages from November 1984 to February 1985 in District data files.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 0.0 NAVD of 1988. Prior to Dec. 18, 2006, gage located 0.5 mi upstream at a datum of 839.42 (NGVD 1929). (Bench marks provided by City of Beaver Dam)
REMARKS - Records are considered good, except for estimated discharge data, which are considered poor.  Discharge record from December 2, 2016 to August 15, 2017 is considered poor due to concrete blocks set on orifice during bridge construction and orifice burial.  For records status prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in annual water-data reports.
