LOCATION - Lat 42°56'26", long 89°55'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.5, T.5 N., R.5 E., Iowa County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07090003, on right bank 200 ft upstream of CTH K bridge, 4.8 miles north of village of Hollandale.
DRAINAGE AREA - 19 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2006 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage-gage. Datum of gage is 895 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Records are considered gfair, except for estimated daily discharges which are poor and other periods as noted below. For records prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in the annual water-data reports. Gage-height telemeter at station.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2006 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping bucket rain gage with electronic data logger.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily rainfall, 6.42 in., Aug. 5, 2007.
REMARKS - Rainfall was estimated to be 0.00 for Dec. 4, 11, 21-23, 25, 29-31, Jan. 1, 11, 12, 19, 29, Feb. 5, 6, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24, 27, and Mar. 9 because recorded precipitation was interpreted as snowmelt. Rain gage calibration on April 21 found an error of -3.3%. No calibration corrections were applied. Tips made during site visits were changed in the database by editing the computed unit values to zero. The edited unit values will still show these tips. The record is complete for the year and is considered good.

REMARKS - Chemical analyses are by the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene. Samples are point samples unless otherwise indicated. Phosphorus results from a low flow sample on 6/16 were omitted because DP was > than TP.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - SUSPENDED SEDIMENT DISCHARGE: Maximum daily, 1410 ton, Jun. 22, 2013; minimum daily, 0.03 ton, Oct. 1, 4-20, 2007, Oct. 1-11, 2012. TOTAL-PHOSPHORUS DISCHARGE: Maximum daily, 2430 lb, Apr. 25, 2008; minimum daily, 0.37 lb, May 22, 2007.
