LOCATION - Lat 39°53'50.9", long 91°34'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.21, T.59 N., R.6 W., Marion County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 07110003, on left downstream wingwall of County Hwy 319 bridge, 4.5 mi southwest of Taylor, 5.0 mi downstream from Grassy Creek, and 5.3 mi upstream from confluence with North Fabius River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 620 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 825: 1936.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Oct 1934 to current year. Prior to Dec 1934 monthly discharge only published in WSP 1308.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 482.45 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to May 14, 1936, nonrecording gage at bridge 4.0 mi downstream at datum 21.94 ft lower; May 14, 1936, to Dec 2, 1940, nonrecording gage at present site and datum. Nov 28, 2006 to Oct 3, 2007, recording gage on left bank 150 ft. downstream of present site at same datum.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records is discussed in the annual Station Analysis archived at the USGS MO Water Science Center.  
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of 1928 reached a stage of 18.49 ft, from floodmarks, at present site and datum.
