LOCATION - Lat 49°24'42.49", long 109°55'10.10" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, UNSPECIFIED, Hydrologic Unit is unknown, third meridian, Hydrologic Unit 10050007, on right bank 9.1 mi downstream from Middle Creek Reservoir, 14 mi northwest of Govenlock, and at river mile 57.6.
DRAINAGE AREA - 151 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1972 to current season (seasonal records only). Data for July 1909 to May 1931, September 1935 to October 1936, and April 1972 to current season are published in reports of the Department of the Environment, Canada (discharge measurements only during 1928 season). Site was published as "at Ross Ranch" from 1909-20, "at Downes and Robert's Ranch" from 1920-23, and "at Wright's Ranch" from 1920-31 and 1935-36.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 3,300 ft, referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Prior to April 1972, non-recording gages at two sites within 2 mi of present site, at different elevations.
COOPERATION - This is one of a number of stations which are maintained jointly by Canada and the United States.
REMARKS - Flow is completely regulated by Middle Creek Reservoir (station number 06144360). Numerous diversions for irrigation occur upstream from station. At high reservoir levels, flow may be diverted to Lodge Creek through Middle Creek Reservoir.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 95 ft³/s, estimated, Apr. 28, 2011; no flow at times most seasons.
