LOCATION - Lat 43°53'53", long 102°38'37" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.2, T.2 S., R.12 E., Pennington County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10120109, on left bank at upstream side of Highway 44 bridge, 13.4 miles east of Farmingdale, 9.3 miles northeast of Scenic, and 1.2 miles upstream of confluence with Rapid Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 11,208 mi² of which 4 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR SD-10-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2007 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 2,432.36 ft above NAVD88.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for estimated discharges, which are poor, unless otherwise noted. Flow regulated by Angostura Reservoir (station 06401000) 108 mi upstream.
