LOCATION - Lat 44°54'38", long 98°28'18" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.31, T.117 N., R.63 W., Spink County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10160006, on left bank near downstream side of county bridge, 2.8 mi northeast of Redfield, and 0.7 mi downstream from Turtle Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 13,886 mi² of which 2,007 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR SD-09-1: 2009 (maximum daily average). WDR SD-11-1: Drainage area. Discharge for the period Oct. 15, 2018, to Oct. 16, 2019, was revised on May 24,
2020, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.

From March 1950 to July 25, 1951, nonrecording gage and from July 26, 1951, to Sept. 30, 1981, water-stage recorder at site 4.5 mi downstream from present site and at different datum.
