LOCATION - Lat 38°50'22.22", long 100°03'30.65" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.13, T.14 S., R.25 W., Trego County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 10260005, on right bank of downstream side of bridge on 160th Avenue, 40 mi west of Hays and 12.5 mi south to U Road, and 2 mi west on 160th Avenue.
DRAINAGE AREA - 616 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 2014 to current date.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 2230.84 ft above NAVD of 1988. Gage datum was determined on August 29, 2018 using a Trimble R10 unit to perform a one-hour rapid static survey with R10 antenna set 2.00 meters over RM1 with bipod and two sand bags over feet. ARP height checked before and after job. Accuracy a level II survey.
REMARKS - Satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge 1980cfs on May 29, 2018 at a stage of 15.49 ft., gage datum. This is also the maximum stage for the period of record.
