LOCATION - Lat 39°01'47", long 95°41'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.06, T.12 S., R.16 E., Shawnee County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 10270102, on right downstream side of 21st Street bridge and 900 ft upstream of old U.S. Highway 75 in Topeka.
DRAINAGE AREA - 33.5 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Annual maximum, May 1970 to September 2010. October 2010 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 878.35 ft above NGVD of 1929. May 1970 to July 2001, nonrecording gage at site downstream of bridge on U.S. Highway 75, 700 ft north of 21st Street in Topeka. August 2001 to September 2010, nonrecording gage at present site and datum.
